Primary 1 put their skills to the test last week when they took part in a series of races during their first school sports day. This included the dress up race, the relay, the obstacle, toss the wellie, the egg and spoon and the sack race.  The children were faced with a challenge when trying to keep the straw hats on their heads and the eggs on their spoons with the strong winds...but they did an amazing job and demonstrated great sportsmanship. Well done boys and girls!

The boys and girls in P1b had a fabulous time on their end of term trip to Briarlands Farm. The children managed to cram in so much including testing their jumping skills on the huge jumping pillows, having fun in the play park, petting the animals, a tractor ride round the farm and a shot on the go carts.  Oh and not forgetting a pit stop for lunch in the barn.  All of the fun and excitement was too much for some...who had a little nap on the bus journey home! The children should be commended on their fantastic manners and behaviour throughout the day, they were a credit to their parents and school.  Well done boys and girls!
