In Edinbarnet we believe that it is very important to build strong and positive relationships with our parents/carers. So far in Primary 1 we have had: -Invite your parents to lunch day -Primary 1 Termly Newsletter -Settling in meetings -Homework workshop -Class blog Throughout the year there shall be a number of opportunities for parents/carers to be involved in their child's learning.  Such as: -Soft finish afternoons -Class Assemblies -Parent Workshops -Parents Evenings -Termly Class Newsletters -Fortnightly Blogs -Coffee Mornings -Stay, Play and Eat sessions You will receive further information about these events via letter/blog. As you will see from the photos below the children were so excited to invite their parents/carers into school for lunch.

Edinbarnet welcomed 37 wonderful new Primary 1's in August.  All of the children looked very smart in their new school uniforms.  On the first day there were some tears (and it wasn't just from the childen).  However, they have all settled in very well and had a great start to their school career.
